Gift giving season

Boxes on boxes via Livet Hemma

Need this for my mom who's obsessed with all things bicycle

I love packing gifts in cute little boxes and wrapping paper... My favorites are from Brown Tree back in Jakarta and Paper Source over here. They have the absolute best cards ever. How incredible would it be to work at a card making company and thinking up quirky little messages to put in cards for other people to give to their loved ones?

Glitter, fairy lights & winter nights

1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8

The holiday season is here... And we all know what that means: celebrations!

This holiday season, I'm really loving delicate whites and metallics... In the past, the go-to holiday colors that came to mind during the festive seasons were quite easily red and green... But this year, maybe it's because of it being my first holiday living over on the East Coast with the cold, wintry December...

On a side note, what better way to celebrate than to toast with a little bit of bubbly?

Loving these festive little champagne flutes that you can make yourself! Check out the Free People blog for more.

Papa's birthday

I love my dad to death. He's such an inspiration to me -a role model, to say the least. He's the reason I am who I am today. He's the wisest and most intelligent man in my life -taught me everything I know. He's a born leader and has taught me to lead by example. He works tirelessly, but enjoys life to its fullest. And that's why I got him these for his birthday...

Happy birthday, Papa.

Crunch

Parfait via shewearsmanyhats
Waking up to a yogurt parfait can seriously make my morning. The crunch, the creaminess, the sweetness, the nuttiness... It's the perfect way to greet your tastebuds a good morning.

I often find myself craving granola with bulbs of plump blueberries and dollops of yogurt in the middle of my days too, and it's at those times that I run over to the Bridge Cafe down in Huntsman Hall to get their homemade granola parfaits...

Who could resist granola?! It could be a snack on its own, it can be married with yogurt or milk... My friend even swears by eating it with nothing but a spoon of peanut butter. I have my own take on her approach, swirling the peanut butter and granola into a bowl of warm oatmeal until the peanut butter melts into the swirl with crunchy bits scattered within it.

Can't wait to get an oven soon to make my own granola/granola bars! But in the mean time, I need this so bad right now... Marge Granola is an artisan baking company based in Seattle that makes their granola with as many simple and organic ingredients as possible. They have three different flavors that they bake in small batches with love: Orginial, Apricot Pistachio, and Hazelnut Cacao Nib -which I'm dying to try!
